IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ADORERS!
We thank you for taking an hour with the Lord. Adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament is an opportunity for us to receive an outpouring of grace from our Good Shepherd. This page is designed to provide each adorer with some necessary information.
For the safety of each adorer our prepetual adoration chapel is secured 24/7. Anyone is welcome to adore the Blessed Sacrament at any point during the day. Scheduled adorers will be given the code.
Those who are not scheduled adorers are asked to ring the bell. When someone rings the bell the adorer insider screens who is at the door from the intercom system (See instructions on the wall next to the intercom on how to operate.)
If the adorer does not feel comfortable they are not obligated to allow the individual inside. Adorers are encouraged not to allow anyone inside especially after sunset, unless they know the individual requesting access.
WINTER WEATHER
The Good Shepherd Adoration chapel technically never closes. However, if a snow emergency is in place and travel restrictions are imposed individuals are encouraged to stay home. If you walk to Chapel please exercise caution.
In the event of a major storm, the pastor may decide to impose a Campus Closure. This is done to assist the snow removal company clear the lots. When this happens adorers are asked to remain off the property until the Campus Closure is lifted.
Your assistance in remaining off the property during a major snow event helps us and the snow removal company in clearing the lot, but more importantly helps us keep everyone safe. The more vehicles on the property make it extremely hard for us to properly clear the parking lots.
